TOPEKA (KSNT) – With 199 television stations, including KSNT and KTMJ in Topeka, in 116 markets, Nexstar represents America’s largest local television company.

Today you may see our company staff at select locations around town to collect and pack food for people in need. We will be on-site at two Dillon’s stores: the North Topeka and 21st and Fairlawn locations.

In 2016, Nexstar’s Founder, Chairman and CEO, Perry Sook, established the company’s “Founder’s Day of Caring.” During the third week of June, employees in each of Nexstar’s 116 markets volunteer with non-profit organizations and public service agencies in local communities every year.

‘Cooler’, but still warm for Friday

We are mainly looking for these food donations:

White canned chicken

BBQ sauce in plastic bottles

Cans of black beans

Canned corn

Boxes of instant brown rice

Cans of pears

We will be in front of the two Dillon’s stores from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m.. Feel free to visit and help us give back to the community!
