According to the social media post, the LTRG will do the following:

Ensure that the local community is leading the way towards recovery and resilience.

Establish guidelines for organizations, agencies, faith-based groups, and volunteers so that each family receives the resources they need.

Work in the frame that recovery is not only about the restoration of structures, systems, and services, yet strives to make a successful recovery for individuals and families so that you can rebound from your losses.

The LTRG will host a town hall gathering at 6 p.m. Sunday, June 30 at the Westmoreland Community Center, 202 Main Street. According to the post, dinner and daycare will be provided for those in attendance.

The social media post said the Kansas Insurance Department, Kansas Legal Services, Habitat For Humanity, Hope Builds Community, the Mennonites and more. will be at the town hall meeting to assist the Westmoreland community as it rebuilds.
