RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — The Richmond Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred late Friday night on Mechanicsville Turnpike.
On Friday, June 14, at 10:21 p.m., police responded to a report of a shooting at the 1400 block of Mechanicsville Turnpike.
According to police, officers arrived on the scene but did not find a victim. Moments later, officers were notified that two victims had been taken to VCU Medical Center.
Both adult victims were treated for non-life threatening injuries.
Major Crime detectives were on the scene to investigate this incident.
