FARGO, ND (KXNET) — One person was injured early Sunday morning when a fully loaded semi-truck pulling a trailer rolled over near the Main Avenue exit in Fargo.

According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, around 2:00 a.m., a semi was heading south on I-29 when the driver apparently mistook the shoulder of the highway for the 13th Avenue South exit and drove off the road.

The vehicle entered the ditch and the fully load trailer caused the semi to overturn on its side.

The 23-year-old Winnipeg, Manitoba driver was not injured in the crash. However, a 62-year-old Manitoba passenger was hurt and taken to Sanford Hospital.

One lane of I-29 was closed as crews worked to remove the semi and trailer from the ditch.
