RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — The Richmond Police Department is investigating a shooting after a man arrived at a hospital in the city on Sunday evening with a gunshot wound.

According to police, at around 5:06 p.m. on Sunday, June 16, officers responded to Virginia Commonwealth University Medical Center in downtown Richmond after a man with an apparent gunshot wound arrived at the hospital.

The victim’s injuries were determined to be non-life-threatening. Police did not say where or when the shooting took place.
