RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Two women were hospitalized after both were shot in Richmond early Monday morning.
Just after 2 a.m. on Monday, June 17, officers with the Richmond Police Department responded to a local hospital after staff told them that two women with gunshot wounds had arrived there.
According to police, the shooting is believed to have taken place in the 5200 block of Hull Street Road. Following the shooting, police said the women took themselves to the hospital.
Both women, who have not been identified by police, are said to have injuries not considered life-threatening.
