CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — The Chesterfield County Parks and Recreation Department has released its plans for the county’s Fourth of July Celebration.

The county’s free Fourth of July celebration will take place at the Chesterfield County Fairgrounds, located at 10300 Courthouse Road, from 5 to 10 p.m. on Thursday, July 4.

The celebration will feature live music from the Morgan Lynsey Band from 6 to 7:45 p.m., as well as a DJ, food, fireworks and more.

Attendees may only bring one clear bag each, any bag that is not clear must be smaller than 6.5″ x 4.5″. Blankets, chairs and coolers are allowed but alcohol, glass, weapons, fireworks, tents and pets will not.
