BISMARCK, ND (KXNET) — Officials from the ND Department of Emergency Services state that 911 outages appear to be affecting parts of Western North Dakota.


One injured in Mountrail three-vehicle DUI crash

According to a press release from ND Response and the Department of Emergency Services, officials are currently working to identify and resolve the issue. While the 911 lines themselves are not working, they report that the radio systems used to dispatch emergency services (such as ambulances, firefighters, and law enforcement) are working as expected.

If one needs to contact 911 for any reason, ND Response states that they should instead dial their local sheriff’s office, or call State Radio at 701-328-9921 or 800-472-2121.
