What We’re Tracking

Sunny and quiet Sunday

Very hot Monday Tuesday

Storms possible midweek

A heat advisory will be in effect for the entire viewing area from 1 pm to 7 pm Monday afternoon.

After a breezy day yesterday, winds are much lighter this morning and with clear skies, temperatures are closer to average. We’re starting off in the 60s but will still manage to heat things up this afternoon.

The light breezes will continue for our Sunday as we see plenty of sunshine. Highs will stay in the low 90s but with slightly lower humidity in place, it may only feel like the middle to upper 90s this afternoon.

For Monday, temperatures will soar near the triple digits with feels like temperatures around 110°. Make sure to drink to stay hydrated and take breaks if working outdoors as summer kicks it into high gear.

The extreme heat will continue for Tuesday with our next best chance for rain late Tuesday night. Unfortunately, our ‘cool’ down may only be some lower 90s by the end of the week.
