MINOT, N.D. (KXNET) — It has been two years since the Dobbs Supreme Court Decision returned jurisdiction of abortions to the states and people in Minot came together to share their support of that decision.

They also shared how it has impacted North Dakota while also sharing the steps they’d like to take in order keep pregnant women and their unborn children safe and healthy.

This includes helping fund and support clinics that provide ultrasounds, baby items, and parental support.

According to the Pew research Center Currently, 63% of people in the county say abortion should be legal in all or most cases, while 36% say it should be illegal.

“Everyone of their lives is precious as well as that life is worth supporting life is worth fighting for and we are here to celebrate that,” said Pastor Shane Mcloughlin.

There are support services through the state and in Minot.
