MINOT, ND (KXNET) — Residents in an apartment complex are being relocated due to structural damage.

According to the Minot Fire Department, crews were dispatched to Minot Artspace Lofts on Monday afternoon for reports of a fire alarm and visible structural damage.

When firefighters arrived and performed an inspection, they determined there was no fire, but they saw cracks in the floor, ceiling, and walls of an apartment unit.

A City of Minot inspector and engineer came to inspect the apartment. To err on the side of caution, all residents will be relocated to alternate housing.

There were no injuries reported.
