MINOT, ND (KXNET) — One man has been arrested and is facing multiple charges after terrorizing a business in Southeast Minot on the morning of Monday, June 24.

According to the Minot Police Department, at approximately 11:45 a.m., a 40-year-old man with no fixed address was arguing with another customer in the business, and threatened to kill all of the other customers. Upon their arrival at the scene, officers located the suspect, who was still involved in an argument.

The man refused to comply with officer commands, before being arrested and transported to the Ward County Jail without further incident. He is currently being charged with seven counts of Terrorizing, and Preventing Arrest or Discharge of Other Duties (all of which are Class C Felonies).

No injuries were reported during the confrontation. The encounter was determined to be an isolated incident, and the Minot Police Department states that there is no ongoing threat to the public.
