One person was injured in a crash on the south side of the tri-level in Fargo on Monday afternoon.

FARGO, ND (KXNET) — One person was injured in a crash on the south side of the tri-level in Fargo on Monday afternoon.

According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, the crash happened around 2:52 p.m. on I-29 heading south.

A 25-year-old Fargo woman was driving south on I-29 in a Chevrolet Impala when she saw a cat jump from the back of a pickup in front of her and run into the ditch. The woman stopped in the middle of the lane, left the Impala, and ran after the cat.


Bismarck Airport holds tri-annual training exercise

Shortly after the 25-year-old stopped, a 21-year-old Enderlin woman approached in a Buick Lacrosse and rear-ended the Impala.

The 21-year-old was not wearing a seatbelt, and her airbags were deployed. She was brought to Sanford Hospital in Fargo for non-life-threatening injuries.

The North Dakota Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
