A 31-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a shooting that injured five people outside of an Antioch nightclub on Labor Day.

ANTIOCH, Tenn. (WKRN) — A 31-year-old man was arrested Monday night in connection with a shooting that injured five people outside of an Antioch nightclub on Labor Day.

According to court documents, Dashawn Davenport was identified by video surveillance footage as the driver, and sole occupant, of a vehicle that opened fire toward a group of people outside of Sky Bar Lounge.

The video footage allegedly showed a group of people, including all of the victims, standing in the parking lot when a silver Jeep drove past and gunfire began coming from the driver’s window.

Along the path the Jeep traveled as the suspect fired shots, police found eight .40 caliber bullet cartridge casings. Three 9mm cartridge casings were also found on the scene, reports said.

The shooting on Sept. 2 caused injury to five people and damage to vehicles. News 2 spoke to a woman whose vehicle was shot as she was driving home from work on Hamilton Church Road. Photos of the vehicle show bullets hit the driver’s side backseat window of her rental car and grazed the front passenger seat headrest.

Davenport is facing multiple charges including multiple counts of attempted homicide.

He is being held in Metro Jail on a $600,000 bond.
