A Springfield teenager was arrested outside a convenience store for allegedly carrying an illegal firearm.

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – A Springfield teenager is facing gun charges after police seized an illegal firearm outside a convenience store.


Police charge 22 University of Rhode Island students with various offenses

According to the Springfield Police Department, at around 7:15 p.m. on Monday officers were called to the 100 block of Maple Street for a gun call. The suspect, 18-year-old Charlie Acevedo was found outside a convenience store.

Acevedo was arrested and charged with carrying a firearm without a license and carrying a loaded firearm without a license
