Cait Murray, Community Outreach Manager at UMassFive, emphasized the significance of the drive, stating, “We know that personal care items in the Survival Center pantries may help people avoid making difficult trade-offs. Nobody should have to choose between food and toilet paper.”

UMassFive has a longstanding commitment to supporting its local communities, and the drive is part of its broader initiative to give back. The donated items will help alleviate some of the burden on individuals and families who often face tough choices between purchasing food or essential hygiene products.

UMassFive continues to encourage community involvement through such efforts and plans to organize similar drives in the future, furthering its mission of supporting the well-being of the communities it serves.
