The 4th annual Shute-N-Safe Firearms Training Golf Outing was held Wednesday and 144 people gathered at the country club to play some golf and win some raffle prizes. All of the money that is raised goes towards the Tunnel to Towers Foundation to help them with veterans homelessness, building smart homes for injured service members and pay off the mortgages for some first responders and gold star families.

Dave Shute is the organizer of the Shute-N-Safe Firearms Training. He says this tournament is constantly growing every year, “Our first year was in the rain and we made $1,800 who would have ever thought we would make $1,800? The second year we had it, it was 100 degrees, we made $5,000 and last year was our third year, we made $13,400.”

Shute says these raffle prizes here are what help to raise the money for the Tunnel to Towers Foundation. These raffles at the tournament included a grill, a blanket, unique gift baskets, jewelry, and more.
