HADLEY, Mass. (WWLP) – Rocky Hill Road in Hadley will be closed for several days for pavement milling.


Elderly veterans in Hampshire County get access to resources as they age

According to the Hadley Police Department, on Thursday and Friday, preparations will begin for milling the road surface of Rocky Hill Road. The road will be closed from East Street to Huntington Road on both days while milling is in progress and will be accessible to residents and local traffic only. Paving will take place next week, and the road will also be closed.

School buses, FedEx, Amazon, and local traffic will not be affected during the paving. Any residents of Rocky Hill Road, and any of the dead-end streets off of Rocky Hill Road, should let traffic officers know of their address, and they will be let through.

Residents of other local streets off of Rocky Hill such as Breckenridge or Highland Circle should use Huntington Road to enter and exit from their street, Farm Lane should use Spruce Hill, and residents of Laurana, High Meadow, and Kentfield should use North Maple Street.

There will be an increase in patrols on Huntington Road due to increased traffic and speeds, as well.
