DORCHESTER, Mass. (WWLP) – A man from Dorchester is the winner of a $4 million prize in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “$4,000,000 Lion’s Share” instant ticket game.


$800 million Mega Millions jackpot hit in Texas

Tayoan De Lima Santos of Dorchester has chosen the cash option and received a one-time payment of $2,600,000, before taxes. Santos said that he plans on traveling and doing some home improvements with his winnings.

The winning ticket was purchased at Mike’s Fuel & Food Mart in Waltham. The retailer will receive a $40,000 bonus for the sale of the ticket.

The $10 “$4,000,000 Lion’s Share” ticket was launched on April 16, and there is one $4 million grand prize and three $1 million grand prizes remaining to be claimed.
