DORCHESTER, Mass. (WWLP) – A New York resident is the winner of a $1 million prize in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “$100X Cash” instant ticket game.


What this Massachusetts $4M lottery winner plans to do with the money

According to the Massachusetts Lottery, Jose Carrasco of Corona, New York chose the cash option and received a one-time payment of $650,000, before taxes. Carrasco is a baker who’s been visiting a friend in Massachusetts for the past week. He said that he has no plans for his winnings at this time.

The winning ticket was purchased at American Food Markets on Blue Hill Ave. in Mattapan. The retailer will receive a $10,000 bonus for the sale of the ticket.

The “100X The Cash” is a $10 Massachusetts lottery scratch ticket.
