The program is designed for individuals who have already earned at least 60 college credits or an associate degree, offering them a flexible, accessible, and affordable path to complete their education.

The program is currently accepting students for the second fall session in the Criminal Justice program, starting on October 21, with other programs beginning in the spring semester of January 2025.

AIC’s executive vice president for Academic Affairs & Student Life, Michael Dodge, emphasized the program’s focus on balancing education with other life commitments. “Our program is designed to meet the needs of busy adults who want to further their education and career prospects without sacrificing time with family or work commitments,” said Dodge.

Flexible and Accelerated Learning Options

The program offers seven in-demand degree paths, allowing students to complete their education faster than traditional semester-long formats through accelerated, seven-week courses. The 100% online platform provides flexibility, enabling students to access coursework and complete assignments at their convenience.

Available degree programs include:

Criminal Justice (BS)

Marketing (BS)

Cybersecurity (BS)

Public Health (BS)

Educational Studies (BS)

Psychology (BS)

Management (BS)

Students can transfer up to 90 credits from accredited institutions, minimizing the time and cost required to earn their degree.

Support Services for Adult Learners

The Online Degree Completion Program provides comprehensive support services similar to those offered to on-campus students, including academic advising, career coaching, and tutoring. Advisors work closely with students to ensure they can successfully balance their academic, work, and family responsibilities.

Advancing Careers and Social Mobility

AIC is recognized nationally for its efforts to promote social mobility, ranking in the top 100 performers in Social Mobility by U.S. News & World Report. The Online Degree Completion Program continues AIC’s tradition of providing accessible higher education to help students improve their economic standing.

A report from Georgetown University’s Center on Education and the Workforce predicts significant growth in jobs requiring a bachelor’s degree, making this program crucial for those looking to secure a well-paying career.

Eligibility and Application

To be eligible for the program, applicants must have completed an associate degree or at least 60 credits from an accredited institution. Prospective students can apply through AIC’s Undergraduate Degree Completion Application or contact AIC Admissions at 413-205-3201 for more information.
