A Ballston man was arrested at his home following an investigation into a road rage incident with a gun. Aaron Delano, 25, faces multiple gun charges.
COLONIE, N.Y. (NEWS10)– A Ballston man was arrested at his home following an investigation into a road rage incident with a gun. Aaron Delano, 25, faces multiple gun charges.
On August 28, police received a report that during a road rage incident, a handgun was displayed. The investigation determined Delano was involved in the incident with the victim in the area of I-787 in Colonie, during which he allegedly pointed a handgun at the victim.
During the investigation, the handgun believed to be involved in the crime was found and seized from Delano’s vehicle. Additionally, he possessed multiple firearms and high-capacity magazines inside his home.
On Sept. 10, Delano was arrested in his home and transported to state police barracks in Latham where he was charged for the Aug. 28 crime. He was then arraigned at the Colonie Town Court and released under the supervision of the Albany County Probation Department.
Charges:
Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the second degree
Three counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the third degree
Reckless Endangerment in the second degree
Menacing in the second degree
Delano was transported again to the state police barracks in Saratoga and was processed for additional charges. He was later arraigned at the Malta Town Court and released under the supervision of the Saratoga County Probation Department.
