Albuquerque Speed Cameras

The city of Albuquerque says its Automated Speed Enforcement (ASE) program is an effective tool to make roads safer. They say these types of programs reduce crashes, injuries and fatalities related to speeding. Through ASE, vehicles speeding through one of the designated areas may receive a $100 citation. People may fight an ASE citation, but not in the same way they fight a normal traffic citation issued by law enforcement. Anyone who wants to fight an ASE citation must set up a hearing through the City Clerk’s Office. For more information about the ASE camera program, click here.
