ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) –A group of students at Horizon Academy West are now KRQE Weather Academy certified, thanks to the pros at KRQE. Chief meteorologist Grant Tosterud and meteorologist Liz Fellinger taught kids about how New Mexico’s weather pattern works.
After the presentation, students took a short quiz, received a certificate, and were recognized as official “Graduates of the KRQE Weather Academy.” Students also received a KRQE Weather Academy certificate, an activity sheet, and a review sheet.
