The Mt. Juliet Police Department (MJPD) apprehended two teens through the Guardian Shield program, , according to social media.

MT. JULIET, Tenn. (WKRN) — The Mt. Juliet Police Department (MJPD) apprehended two teens through the Guardian Shield program.

According to a post from X, formerly Twitter, license plate readers alerted police to a 2020 Nissan Maxima stolen from Jackson on Tuesday.

“Officers intercepted the car on Mt. Juliet Rd near Lebanon Rd. Two teens, both 18 from Hermitage/Nashville, were apprehended in the stolen car,” the post reads, in part.

Officers were able to contact the victim in Jackson, who police said was “delighted” that her car had been found.
