A local county will soon receive additional resources to help fight the opioid crisis.
TROY, N.Y. (NEWS10) — A local county will soon receive additional resources to help fight the opioid crisis. Rensselaer County has been designated as a High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area.
Federal lawmakers said the designation will allow the county to receive federal intelligence, drug detection tools, and funding for drug treatment programs.
Schenectady County received the same designation in 2022.
