SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church will be holding a Mass on Saturday to celebrate the Italian Saint Padre Pio.
This will be the first time the Sons & Daughters of Italy will be unveiling their new statue of St. Padre Pio at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church. After the Mass, there will be a procession with an Italian marching band through the streets of the South End, followed by a reception at the Italian Club on Winthrop Street.
The Mass will start at 10:30 a.m. with the marching band expected to start around 11:30 a.m.
