It will be a dry day across New Mexico. High temperatures will climb throughout the week.

Fall officially began yesterday morning. The high and low temperatures across the state reflected the change in seasons. However, today temperatures will once again begin to rise. Reaching their peak by the end of the week.

Temperatures could feel like summer again by the end of the week. This is due to a couple of things. First, we saw a drop in temperatures across the state yesterday due to a cold front that has since moved on. Second, New Mexico will remain fairly dry this week. Rainfall helps to cool the state down. Without it, temperatures can rise everyday.

While the high temperatures may be hot, the lows are not. Low temperatures, especially in the northeast, are fairly chilly this week. Low’s across central and southern New Mexico are also on the cooler side.

Rain chances will be incredibly low across New Mexico this week. Isolated storms could return to the Northern Mountains on Saturday.
