RUIDOSO, N.M. (KRQE) – Hours have changed at a New Mexico recovery center. Authorities announced the new schedule on Monday.

The FEMA Disaster Recovery Center (DRC) is located at Horton Complex, 237 Service Road, in Ruidoso, New Mexico.

The location will be open Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. On Saturday, it’ll be open from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. The center is closed on Sundays.


SNAP benefits, eligibility requirements expanding in New Mexico

To apply for FEMA assistance, you need to be a resident of Lincoln, Otero, Rio Arriba, San Juan counties, or the Mescalero Apache Reservation. Additionally, you had to have been affected by the South Fork and Salt Fires or flooding.

Spanish interpreters are available at the center.
