HONOLULU (KHON2) — The City and County of Honolulu is calling all military spouses on Oahu who want to further their personal goals and careers.

Honolulu Mayor Rick Blangiardi announced the partnership with the Military Spouse Professional Network to provide a free career development event at the WorkHawaii Division office.

The Resume Writing and Resource Empowerment Session can help spouses work on their resumes, look for a job and explore career development programs, internships and more.

Additionally, WorkHawaii also provides GED preparation and work experience for youth and adults and vocational training for tuition assistance.

WorkHawaii is dedicated to supporting military spouses who bring valuable skills like adaptability, leadership, and resilience to the workforce. Together, we’ll empower you to turn those strengths into exciting career opportunities!

Those who will be in attendance can park in the Costco parking lot for up to two hours.

The workshop will be held in the Dole Cannery Office Building on Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
