WAYNE COUNTY, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – Two women are in critical condition following a shooting late Saturday night.

According to Kentucky State Police, just before 11 p.m. officers were called to a home on Winchester Road for a shooting.

Through an investigation, KSP determined 25-year-old Chase Jackson was in a verbal fight with his mother, 50-year-old Audrey Jackson, and his grandmother, 94-year-old Savana Brock.

Jackson then allegedly shot both Ms. Jackson and Ms. Brock during the argument.

Both women were transported to the Wayne County airport, where they were airlifted to the University of Kentucky Chandler Hospital.

Both are still in critical condition.

Jackson was found walking on HWY 90 and was taken into custody. He is being charged with two counts of attempted murder and two counts of first degree assault.

The shooting is still under investigation.
