Pattaya —

A chicken noodle shop owner in Pattaya reported to the police that a couple had stolen his motorcycle after he fell asleep and forgot his key in the ignition.

Mr. Thanapol Bingkhunthod, a 26-year-old owner of a chicken noodle shop, provided surveillance camera footage to The Pattaya News after his motorbike was stolen on September 23rd. The thieves stole his black and gray Honda Wave 110i motorcycle, which was parked in front of his shop on Soi Arunothai in Pattaya. After the incident, he reported the theft to Pattaya Police Station.

Mr. Thanapol explained that he had parked his motorcycle in front of the shop and accidentally left the key in the ignition. He intended to sit and wait to go shopping for supplies but accidentally fell asleep.

Upon waking, Mr. Thanapol found that his motorcycle had been stolen by a man and a woman, who he suspected are a couple. They circled the area before stopping in front of the shop. The woman then rode off on their motorcycle while the man calmly started Mr. Thanapol’s bike and rode away. Mr. Thanapol noted that this motorcycle was essential for his livelihood, and he felt disheartened by how easily it was stolen.

In response to the report, Pattaya police immediately sent an investigative team to the scene. The surveillance footage clearly captured images of the suspects, and police are tracking them down for legal action.
