The City of Pittsfield is sponsoring a Halloween Parade and is looking for participants.

PITTSFIELD, Mass. (WWLP)– The City of Pittsfield is sponsoring a Halloween Parade and is looking for participants.

This year’s theme is “Spooky Hollywood” and the city is inviting schools, businesses and community organizations to be a part of the parade event, being held on Friday, October 25 at 7:00 p.m. on Tyler Street.


STCC and HCS Headstart unveil new early childhood program on campus

Participants are asked to create floats, decorations, and/or costumes representing their favorite
Halloween movie.

Interested parties will need to review the Halloween parade application packet and complete all
applicable forms. The application packet is available through on the Parks & Recreation
page.
The deadline for completed forms is Friday, October 11.

There will be a float seminar on Thursday, September 26 at 6:00 p.m. in Room 203 at City Hall,
70 Allen Street, for those who are interested in/planning to have a float, and an organization representative must attend the meeting. The new participant meeting will be held on October 22 at 6p.m. in Room 203 at City Hall.
