Chiang Mai in November – Nimman or Old City? Reddit — Thailandtv.news

Hi All,
Wife and I are visiting in November and are stuck in which area to stay in. The hotel we wanted to stay at, Inside House, is sold out except for their most expensive rooms, and our second choice hotel we like is the Akyra Manor in Nimman but we wanted to see / be close to the night markets in Old City. From looking at a map it doesn’t look super far, but is getting from Nimman area to Old City as simple as riding a bike or is taking a grab the move?

I also love coffee, read that there is a great coffee scene along the Nimman area. Is it too much of an inconvenience if we stayed in Nimman and wanted to visit other areas?

Any recs on hotels are also appreciated!
