SUFFIELD, CT. (WWLP) – Route 159 is shut down on Wednesday following a chemical spill at the HP Hood facility in Suffield.


2 charged in takeover that shut down I-95 in New Haven, Orange, Stratford

According to the Department of Transportation, Route 159 is shut down between Suffield Street and the McDougall Prison because of an ammonia spill. The Suffield Police Department says there is no immediate hazard to the public at this time.
