A man from Wilbraham was arrested after six 911 calls reported road rage in Palmer.

MONSON, Mass. (WWLP) – A man from Wilbraham was arrested in Monson after a physical road rage incident in Palmer on Tuesday.

According to the Palmer Police Department, on Tuesday at around 5:16 p.m., officers received six calls about a road rage incident on Thorndike Street at Main Street near the CVS in Palmer. Allegedly, a driver exited his Jeep and opened the door to another person’s vehicle and a physical altercation occurred. The driver got back into his Jeep and followed the vehicle into Monson.

Both vehicles were stopped by the Monson Police Department and Felix Santana of Wilbraham was arrested for operating under the influence of alcohol, operating under the influence of drugs, and negligent operation of a motor vehicle. Santana also faces disorderly conduct and assault and battery charges by Palmer police.

There is no word if the person in the other vehicle was injured. Santana is expected to be arraigned at Palmer District Court on Wednesday.
