Thai police are on the hunt to find out what mysterious object struck a lorry driver on the head as he sped along the Chon Buri bypass. The driver was knocked out cold, sending his truck careering into a crash, and leaving him with serious injuries.

Officers from Mueang Chon Buri Police Station rushed to the scene of the six-wheel truck accident on the bypass road at around 4.30pm yesterday, September 26. The damaged truck was found in a canal alongside the road.

The 42 year old truck driver, Auttaphong, suffered a severe head wound, and his skull was found to be fractured.

Sakmongkhon, an assistant manager at the truck company Auttaphong worked for, later arrived at the scene to assess the damage. He informed police that Auttaphong was en route to deliver goods from Laem Chabang Port to Suvarnabhumi International Airport.
