LAS VEGAS, NV. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) – Cincinnati Reds legend Pete Rose, also known as “Charlie Hustle,” passed away in his house in Las Vegas on Monday.

Rose played in the MLB from 1963 to 1986, winning three World Series in his tenure. He played with the Reds for 24 seasons, most known as the captain of the Big Red Machine; a lineup known for their dominance of the National League in the 1970s.

He holds MLB’s all-time record for most hits, 4,256, and games played at 3,562.
