I’m going on vacation to Chiang Mai in three weeks and will be renting a car. My family and I are planning some morning excursions. Our idea is to drive for 10-30 minutes (Edit: 1 hour drives are fine too) to a destination, have lunch at a good café with a nice atmosphere, and then enjoy an activity in the area. For example, we might drive to Chom Cafe and then visit Wat Phra. Does anyone have other excursion ideas for us?
