MONTAGUE, Mass. (WWLP) – Drivers are being advised about a one-day bridge closing in Montague.

Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) crews will be doing repairs to the 5th Street Bridge that connects Montague with Greenfield on Tuesday and the bridge will be closed from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Traffic will be detoured across the Avenue A bridge to Route 2, and back to Route 2A on the Greenfield side of the bridge.

MassDOT will have signs and messaging in place to guide drivers. All scheduled work is weather-dependent and subject to change without notice.
