ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – One of New Mexico’s most popular and largest event spaces is celebrating its 58th birthday with a new look. The University of New Mexico’s Popejoy Hall is celebrating half a century with a renovation to its lobby.
All three floors of Popejoy Hall were remodeled. “This is a project we’ve been working on over the summer, we’re very excited to have it open in time for our season this weekend,” said Director Fabianna Borghese Tabeling.
Tabeling said the lobby has not been renovated since the 1990s.
