HONOLULU (KHON2) — A high-pressure system far to the northeast is bringing trade winds to the islands. As we move into Wednesday, an upper-level disturbance to the west is expected to weaken and shift east, potentially bringing some mid-week showers to the islands.
Meanwhile, a low-pressure system northwest of Kauai is moving northeast. Its cold front will linger and disrupt the high, causing the trade winds to weaken later in the week.
