This is pretty much a long shot to find, but I’d like to locate a cell phone repair shop that has a delicious restaurant next door to it on the right side, located in the Robinsons Bangrak area.
The cell phone repair shop had a very friendly middle aged Thai lady with an also very friendly fluffy little white dog in the shop, who greeted us, and recommended the restaurant next door to eat at while we were waiting for the phone repair. It was probably her son who did the screen repair on my phone, as it seemed to be a family business. There was a couch, which I believe was also white at the right side inside the shop, and the repair area behind a counter and glass to the left side of the shop. If I’m remembering correctly there were a couple of steps from the sidewalk up to the phone repair entrance.
The restaurant next door to the right of the cell repair shop had part of the cooking area a little bit out on the sidewalk, with tables inside, and the ubiquitous green paint used a lot in Thailand. Ate dinner there while waiting for the phone to be repaired, and the food was outstanding!
It was twilight moving into evening when my phone was fixed and ready for pickup, and dinner was finished.
Walked out to the main road, from the side street where the repair shop and restaurant were to get a Grab ride, and could see Robinsons across the larger/multi-lane road, most likely Thanon Charoen Krung.
For the life of me I can’t locate the phone repair shop and restaurant on Google maps. Have looked around the area using Google Maps Street View as well with no luck.
I wonder if anyone is familiar with that area and knows the cell phone repair shop I’m trying to locate.
It was on Google Maps Thai language version, but I can’t find it searching Google Maps English language version.
Neither cell phone shop, or restaurant were in a mall, they were both on the sidewalk street side, and likely in the area marked on the Google map below.
Posted this in r/Bangkok without any luck. Maybe someone here will know this place?
