ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – New Mexico United has partnered with Presbyterian and UNMH’s Pediatric Hematology/Oncology programs and the Pink Warrior House Foundation for a “Kick Out Cancer” campaign. With the partnership, The club has unveiled special pink uniforms to be worn on October 9.

All proceeds from jersey sales will go directly to support the Pink Warrior House Foundation, who supports breast cancer patients and their families. Additionally, game-worn jerseys by the players will be available for auction with proceeds going to the foundation as well.

As part of the campaign, United players recently visited pediatric cancer patients who are currently fighting or recently won their battle. During the match on October 9, instead of wearing their own names on the back of their jerseys, players will wear the name of the child they visited.

The pink United jerseys will be available for sale beginning next week.
