A cold front sweeping across the eastern U.S. brings more rain for many areas in central Kentucky today. The front will exit the area by early tomorrow morning.  Gradual clearing will happen for northwestern counties in the morning and continue into the southeast throughout the afternoon. A high pressure moves in behind the front and gives a dry end to the week. Wednesday will see a little cool down with highs topping out in the low 70s.

Highs will warm up to the low 80s by Friday, but another cold front Friday will drop Saturday’s temps back into the 70s.  The second cold front of the weekend is expected to arrive Sunday and is now looking to bring moisture with it. We have a returning chance for rain Sunday and Monday.  Temperatures behind this front will be much cooler with highs in the upper 60s Monday and low 70s Tuesday.
