A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held for Cataldo’s additional location in Holyoke. They have 25 base locations throughout the greater Boston and North Shore area, with a wide service area supporting 911 services and non-emergent medical transportation supporting nursing homes, hospitals, and other medical facilities.

Having this new location in Holyoke will allow them to serve more people with comprehensive and quality care at Cataldo Ambulance Service.

“By virtue of its central location and easy access to the different areas connecting roads, it will provide us the ability to move vehicles more efficiently in the community for 911 services,” said President and CEO Dennis Cataldo.

This new ambulance base has a garage that will house about six emergency response vehicles. It also has offices, a crew area, a training and communications center, and including a lounge space.
