“We are thrilled to witness firsthand the continued growth and evolution of BARE Blends both at Stuyvesant Plaza and on a national scale,” Rachel Ferluge, Stuyvesant Plaza general manager said. “Their new location will offer ample room for seating, take-out and delivery services as well as an expanded menu. In addition, the exciting launch of the brand’s new look will originate here with its flagship store.”

Annie Berdar and Jessica Fuller first opened the plaza’s eatery in 2018, sharing a space with The Hot Yoga Spot. The vegan, dairy-free and plant-based business then moved to the current storefront in the backside of the plaza and began offering more food items like grain bowls and sandwiches, including their original smoothie bowl and juice menu.

“It’s hard to believe how far we’ve come since our humble beginnings as a vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free juice bar on the backside of Stuyvesant Plaza,” said Berdar and Fuller. “As a women-owned business, we are proud to have created a space that not only promotes healthy living but also supports eco-friendly practices.

“What started as a small smoothie shop attached to The Hot Yoga Spot has turned into innovative cafes across the country and a movement toward wellness for thousands in our community,” Fuller added. “Our longevity at Stuyvesant Plaza is a testament to the unwavering support and trust in our commitment to quality from both Plaza management and the Capital Region.”

As the business celebrates its sixth year in the plaza, their move will take place over the next couple of weeks. A grand reopening for the relocation is planned for early 2025.
