GEORGETOWN COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) – 911 is down in Georgetown County Wednesday afternoon, according to law enforcement agencies.
Phone lines at the Georgetown Emergency Communications Center are reportedly not working, Pawley’s Island Police said. If you have an emergency in the town limits of Pawley’s Island, call 843 -237-1698.
The Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office said if there is an emergency in the county, call 843-546-5102.
Crews are working to fix the issue and law enforcement will notify when communications have been restored.
