In many areas, people are without food, water, and other essential supplies after experiencing the storm’s devastating winds and flooding.

News 2 is partnering with UNITS to collect storm relief supplies and essential items. The supplies will be delivered to residents in South Carolina’s Upstate region.

People willing to donate can drop off items at News 2 (210 W. Coleman Boulevard) between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m., Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.

Accepted items include:

Non-perishable food items

Water and sports drinks

Flashlights and batteries

Paper towels and paper products (plates, bowls, cups, flatware)

Baby diapers, wipes, and other essentials

Personal hygiene items

Feminine hygiene items

Cleaning supplies and trash bags

If you cannot deliver supplies, please consider a monetary donation to the American Red Cross through our company’s Hurricane Helene relief portal. The funds raised will go directly to storm relief efforts.
