At 8:00 AM on October 2nd, 2024, Mr. Jirayu Huangsub, the advisor to the Prime Minister, revealed that Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra expressed concern for Thai nationals in Israel following the unrest in the area.

To minimize risks, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the nearest Thai embassy are providing essential information to Thai citizens living in the affected regions. If any areas become too dangerous, Thai citizens are urged to leave immediately, with Thai authorities prepared to offer prompt assistance, stated Jirayu.
Jirayu said the Royal Thai Embassy in Tel Aviv issued a warning after the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) declared the cities of Metula, Misgav Am, and Kfar Giladi, near the Lebanon border, as closed military zones on the night of Monday, September 30th, 2024.

Thai nationals residing in these areas were advised to evacuate immediately. The embassy continues to monitor the situation closely, according to Jirayu.

Thai citizens in need of assistance can contact the Royal Thai Embassy in Tel Aviv through the following numbers: Consular Division +972 546368150, +972 503673195; Labor Division +972 9-954-8431, +972 54-469-3476, or via the Line ID 0544693476.
The Thai Prime Minister emphasized the need for safety measures and urged the embassy to issue warnings based on the severity of the situation. Evacuation plans should be ready in case the situation worsens. Thai nationals are encouraged to contact the embassy if they need further assistance.
